Enjoy the photos we have posted from certain events Chequamegon Wildlife and Rec has organized and sponsored over the years. This web page contains photos from CWRC's Jump River Shore Acres Park Improvement Project from the summer of 2009. Better known by locals as the swimming hole, this area offers excellent fishing, swimming, picnicking, and wildlife watching. Enjoy your park and thanks for all your help to the community of Jump River, Wisconsin!! It is also worth mentioning that Ken and Mary Homes made a generous cash donation toward this project. Thanks again.

| This group of seven photos was taken at Shore Acres Park on the Jump River in March 2009 before improvements began. CWRC decided at the annual meeting to undertake the development of this site for recreation purposes as the club project for summer 2009. Director Eric Zuleger headed the project and can be contacted at (715) 748-3974. |

| The major work day that took place on Saturday, July 25 involved assembling the two concrete picnic tables donated by CWRC and creating the bases for the tables of which the materials where donated by Olynick's. Jason Weir continued construction on the shelter. His construction company, JLW Construction donated the labor and tools for this project. Several trees were removed and branches were pruned also. Ron Olynick removed some small trees and placed large boulders to serve as vehicle barriers. Doug Skabroud brought his skidsteer and helped spread top soil, while Dean Skabroud and his family helped with the tables. Thank you to everyone involved. |
